Overview

Deth-x (the "App") is a posthumous messaging application provided by Deth-x LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), a subsidiary of Hex-Evo Ltd. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use, storage, protection, and deletion of your personal information.

We built Deth-x to protect your most personal words. That same principle guides how we handle your data: collect only what we need, encrypt everything we store, and give you full control over your information — including the right to delete it permanently.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you create an account via Twitter/X OAuth, we receive your username, display name, and profile identifier. We do not receive or store your Twitter/X password.
• Messages: The posthumous messages you compose within the App. These are encrypted at rest using multi-layer encryption and are not accessible to Deth-x staff in plaintext form.
• Purchase Information: Transaction identifiers and purchase status processed through Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple StoreKit (iOS). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Promo/Discount Codes: Code identifier and redemption status if you enter a promotional code.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, hardware model. Used for compatibility, security, and support.
• App Activity: Features accessed, session timestamps, interaction patterns, crash/error reports. Used to improve performance and detect issues.
• Device State Data: Battery level, network connectivity, device reboot events, background activity patterns. Used by our activity monitoring system to determine user status and trigger conditions.
• Location Data: Approximate location from IP address or device location services (with permission). Stored in hashed/anonymized form for regional content and activity analysis.
• Authentication Tokens: Encrypted OAuth tokens for connected social media accounts. Used solely to publish your designated messages when triggered.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your social media passwords
• We do not collect payment card numbers, bank accounts, or financial credentials
• We do not collect contacts, call logs, SMS messages, or data from other apps
• We do not use your camera or microphone

2. How We Use Your Information

• Core Functionality: Storing encrypted messages, authenticating identity, processing purchases, publishing messages to social media when triggered.
• Activity Monitoring: Our proprietary detection system uses device state data and usage patterns to determine trigger conditions. This is the core function of the App.
• Security: Detecting unauthorized access, preventing abuse, maintaining data integrity.
• App Improvement: Analyzing aggregate usage patterns, diagnosing issues, improving performance.
• Communications: Essential service notifications only. No marketing emails unless you opt in.
• AI Processing: Anonymized usage data processed to improve detection accuracy. Proprietary AI methodologies are the exclusive property of Hex-Evo Ltd. and operated by Deth-x LLC under exclusive license.

3. Data Storage and Encryption

3.1 Encryption Architecture

Your messages are protected by a multi-layer encryption system:

• Application Layer: Messages encrypted on your device before transmission using AES encryption with keys derived from your unique account credentials.
• Transit Layer: Additional encryption layer on top of standard HTTPS/TLS transport security.
• Server Storage Layer: Data encrypted at rest with server-side keys managed separately from application keys.

Your messages are encrypted three times before reaching storage. No single key compromise can expose plaintext.

3.2 Data Vault Architecture

Personal information is stored within our proprietary Data Vault system, isolated from operational systems, with one-way data flow controls preventing passive leakage to third parties.

3.3 Infrastructure

Secure cloud infrastructure with encrypted databases, automated backups, access logging, continuous monitoring, and encrypted server-to-database connections.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Social Media Platforms

When trigger conditions are met, the App publishes your designated messages to connected accounts (currently Twitter/X). This requires your explicit authorization.

4.2 Service Providers

Third-party infrastructure providers process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations. They do not have access to decrypted messages.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you unless prohibited.

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the acquiring entity with notice to you.

4.5 Aggregated Data

We may create anonymized, aggregated data sets ("Data Encyclopedias") for research or licensing. Your individual data is never included in identifiable form.

Deth-x employs technical controls to prevent passive sharing of personal information with third-party providers:

• Domain-level request filtering blocking unauthorized outbound data transmission
• Sensitive data pattern detection scrubbing PII from outbound requests
• One-way data flow architecture preventing platform SDKs from accessing stored messages

6. Your Rights and Controls

6.1 Access

View your stored messages, account information, and connected accounts within the App at any time.

6.2 Modify

Edit or replace stored messages before trigger conditions are met. Update connected accounts in Settings.

6.3 Delete

Request complete account deletion through:

• In-app: Settings > Delete My Account
• Email: info@deth-x.com — subject: "Account Deletion Request"

All data permanently deleted within 30 days. Encrypted backups purged within 90 days. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

6.4 Revoke Social Media Access

Disconnect accounts anytime through App settings or your social media platform's security settings.

6.5 Opt Out

Disable location services through device settings. Some monitoring features may have reduced accuracy.

7. Data Retention

• Active Accounts: Retained while active and messages are not yet triggered.
• After Release: Account data retained 90 days post-publication, then deleted.
• After Deletion: Purged within 30 days; backups within 90 days.
• Legal Holds: Retained as required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If discovered, such data will be deleted promptly. Contact info@deth-x.com if you believe a minor has used the App.

9. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in Canada and the United States. Same security and encryption standards apply regardless of storage location.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights: right to know what data is collected, right to delete, right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data), and right to non-discrimination. Contact info@deth-x.com to exercise these rights.

11. Security Incidents

In the event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected users within legally required timeframes, provide details of affected data and remediation steps, and cooperate with regulatory authorities.

12. Third-Party Services

• Social Media (Twitter/X): Authentication and message publication.
• App Stores (Google Play, Apple): Distribution and purchase processing.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Secure data storage and hosting.
• Push Notifications: Essential app notifications.

We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

Material changes require 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Corporate Structure

Deth-x LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hex-Evo Ltd. Proprietary technologies, patents, and trade secrets referenced in this policy are owned by Hex-Evo Ltd. and exclusively leased to Deth-x LLC under a binding licensing agreement. All data protection obligations are the responsibility of Deth-x LLC as data controller. Any challenge to the intellectual property used within the App may invoke the protections and enforcement rights of Hex-Evo Ltd.
